Has anyone else noticed that the E-Trade baby is different?  Or is it just me?  It seems to me like he has a different voice and he is not such a cool cat like he used to be.  I’m not even sure it’s the same baby. The funny faces just don’t get it for me-it’s his dry humor, sarcasm, and babyish sophistication that made him so irresistible. Now that is gone. I am really disappointed! I used to love to watch those commercials, I would stop whatever I was doing to watch them. I would even rewind them on my DVR!  That’s how much I liked the E-Trade baby. But now he seems just a little bit “off” to me, not nearly as enjoyable…noticeable…rememberable. People really shouldn’t mess with marketing genius! Hey E-Trade…if you’re listening…Bring Back The Baby! Shank-a-potomus!
